BNP quick off the mark with new lies

The British National Party is claiming that 400,000 ballotpapers in the London election were officially declared “spoilt” because of “massive and organised ballot box tampering”.

According to a statement on the BNP website, this went unreported by the media “because the most likely target of said suspected vote tampering or ‘ballot box stuffing’, would be the BNP”. Overlooking the fact that “stuffing” ballot boxes with spoilt papers would be rather pointless, the reason the media did not report this is because it is simply not true.

The number of spoilt papers in the London mayoral and Assembly elections was somewhat higher than in other British elections, as it was last time round in 2004, probably because of the more complicated voting system. But the figures are far below the BNP’s claim.

Each voter had three ballot papers covering the constituency vote, the London-wide list and the election for mayor. In the constituency poll there were 47,799 spoilt papers, less than 2% of the total votes cast. The London-wide list results recorded 41,489 spoilt papers, amounting to 1.69% of the total votes. And in the mayoral election 41,032 papers (1.67%) were rejected in the count of first choice votes.

That adds up to 130,290, a long way short of 400,000.

There is, however, a figure of over 400,000 in the results tables, namely the 412,054 papers that were rejected in the count of voters’ second choice for mayor. Of these, 407,840 were not counted simply because the voter had not made a second choice.

That’s hardly sinister, though you would not expect the conspiracy nuts in the BNP to see that. Deliberate lie or wilful stupidity, it is a fitting start to Richard Barnbrook’s term of office as a London Assembly member.

Stop the BNP

Scotland’s new counter-terrorism chief: neo-Nazis as much of a threat as al-Qaeda

Scotland’s new terror tsar has warned that the threat from right-wing extremism is as damaging to community relations as the menace posed by al-Qaeda.

In an exclusive interview on his first day as the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland’s counter terrorism co-ordinator, Allan Burnett said forces should not ignore the latent neo-Nazi presence across the UK.

Fife’s assistant chief constable said the public is at risk because racism is being used to unite people into violent causes. He said this also undermines police work to reassure the Muslim community following the attack on Glasgow Airport last year.

Burnett said: “We’ve had a number of right-wing issues recently in the UK that again have raised their head in Scotland. “There have been serious cases down south that have been really well dealt with by the police down there, but we shouldn’t be complacent about it. “There’s no point promoting positive race relations if, in claiming to be everyone’s co-ordinator of counter terrorism, you take your eye off the right-wing.”

Burnett’s comments are a reminder of the threats facing communities, following the arrest of an alleged neo-Nazi in Dundee last November. Martyn Gilleard of Goole, Humberside, will soon stand trial at the Old Bailey, charged with making four nail-bombs and possessing bomb making manuals. Prosecutors will allege he had a right wing “terrorist agenda”.

Burnett, a former race relations officer and director of intelligence at Strathclyde Police, is responsible for co-ordinating the country’s response to the modern threat of global terrorism. He will also work with UK and international counter terrorism officers.

Burnett plans to combat the threat by developing closer links with communities. This follows his well-praised efforts in the Sighthill area of the city after the murder of Turkish asylum seeker Firsat Dag seven years ago.

The murder sparked rival demonstrations by asylum seekers claiming they were receiving preferential treatment by the authorities.

Burnett said: “I learned that you don’t just focus on the minority ethnic community. The solution to those pressing problems involved all the community.”

Burnett, 50, who began his police work in Maryhill in 1979, started fighting terrorism at an early stage of his career. As a young Special Branch officer, he was involved in the 1985 operation to arrest Brighton bomber Patrick Magee and several other IRA suspects involved in the attack on Margaret Thatcher and her Cabinet at the Grand Hotel the previous year. They were found at a flat containing a guns’ cache in the southside of Glasgow.

He urged communities to be “self-policing” and said the police need to further develop their “preventative strategy”, which includes the idea of parents tipping off the police if they suspect their children or other relatives and friends are being “brainwashed” into terrorism via the internet or other activities.

“It’s really about making sure young people are not persuaded by terrorist brainwashing, and end up going down a line they, their families, their victims, and relatives, will regret,” he said.

“Very quickly, people label communities and say that everybody was guilty or that everybody must have known what was going on after a terrorist incident. There’s an awful lot of cases where people genuinely don’t know what’s going on.

“It’s like educating parents about drugs and what signs to look for. We don’t get it right if parents don’t know what their kids are getting up to behind their backs. We must get ourselves into a position where the parents are concerned, even at the lowest levels; that we have something set up where they feel free to come to the authorities.

“We need surveillance - not on communities, but on individuals who are actively involved or supporting terrorist organisations. We have some excellent relations with the community, but they can always be better and deeper.”

The security services recently revealed 2000 people are being monitored in the UK, with an unspecified number of others also under surveillance. Burnett, who took over the post from Strathclyde assistant chief constable John Corrigan, said: “I am going to rely on an awful lot of people, understand the fears of their communities, their concerns and get the right balance between human rights and the laws that enable action against terrorist activity to take place.”

my friend the legal cockroach tells me that - if it hadn't been for voting corruption - Barnbrook would be Mayor; the GLA would be BNP-controlled; they would have gained 300 seats across the UK; and won the vote for Pope last year. (and Simone Clarke would have won "I'd do anything")

Allegedly

Somebody's quick off the mark - and it isn't me, honestly! Unity News only went "live" a two hours ago!

Congrats to Scotlands new counter terrorism chief......just wish Ian Blair would make the same statement for London, but of course the tatic of his bosses in the Labour party is to just ignore the bnp.....thats why London now has a brown suited drunken idiot.

Denise the new site looks good, very swish and professional, but you will have to go some to build the reputation of Lancaster Unity...good luck with it.

Looks like the bnp rebels have finally got out of bed, there has been a rush of postings on Autys site, with areas supporting him that have kept quite for a long time.

Are we in for an interesting time?

Griffin is already flying a kite for a purge on Scumfront. I believe the BNP members behind Auty will be ex-members quite soon.

Its only a rumour

The Scene;

Induction day at law School

Dean of the school,
"Welcome everybody to your first day at law school, before we discuss the formalities I would lie to tell everyone assembled that we enjoy all our sports facilities here and we are particularly proud of the fact that we maintain our tradition of playing tennis on grass.

Lee Barnes;
" Jesus I'm glad I brought my bag of skunk"

Auty and his backers need to be prepared to use the law this time if they don't want Jackson's fate. The BNP's Mugabe style constitution wouldn't survive the courts.

Denise, the new site looks great, but you're not leaving Lancaster UAF are you?

Barnsey's gone off on one about Eddy Morrison

Wonder how Sid's going to manage to square that with his hardly disguised support for Griffin on SFB and VNN?

When are the BPP thickos going to work out that Sid's in Nick's pocket?

@ Mark and Tulip

Thanks. LU has priority, the new site will run articles that you perhaps wouldn't normally see.

@anon

Sid's apparently parted company with the BPP:

I wasn't going to say anything, but after receiving this weeks Nationalist week, sent to me directly I will now announce my resignation as National Organiser and member of the BPP. This started with a multitude of ridiculous accusations and I was even pilloried by Watmough's fat ugly girlfriend. I demanded but didn't receive either retraction or apology, and so told them to stick it up their arses.

The BPP says:

We have put our own house in order too by replacing and accepting the resignation of Peter (Sid) Williamson, whose long term slavish devotion to the sacrosanct policy of never criticising Chairman Griffin and his notorious gang and who was allowed back in to the BPP last year after being kicked out (?) of the BNP. We will never be 100% sure but Mr.Williamson's tactics have been tantamount to wrecking and have made the BPP some enemies within the National Movement. We will do our damndest to repair this damage.

Wised up to Sid have they? Took long enough to see through his I'm neutral except when Griffo's in the crosshairs BS. I reckon most of Scumfront knew he was Griffo's stooge but were frightened of the fat bag of wind.

(We) The BNP have a good reason to be concerned about the those 400,000 votes, *AS HAVE OTHERS*.

1) The ballot boxes were made of cardboard.
2) The seals on many were broken.
3) The computer system scanned the documents in black & white - this meant that it would have been easy for someone to place an additional vote in the wrong column.
4) The boxes were stored overnight.

If you can't see the scope here for fraud, then what more can I say?

We have no way of knowing whether all those rejected double votes were in tampered with overnight.

It's not just the BNP that should be concerned about this, it's other small parties such as leftlist and respect.

Furthermore, independent election observers share our concerns, they just haven't published their findings yet.

@Chris Barnett -

It's not in my nature to allow BNP posts through, but I've done so on this occasion because I find your hypocrisy breath-taking.

When we are talking about voting fraud and rigged elections my mind cannot help but to fly back to the occasion of last year's BNP leadership election, when your own erstwhile leader managed to out-Mugabe Mugabe.

I'm sure we don't need to go into details, as they are by far too embarrassing.

Regarding your own "secret ballot" on that occasion, didn't Returning Officer Cass impartially declare himself for Griffin before a vote had been cast?

Weren't - as we all saw on the "BNP Wives" documentary - the envelopes containing the votes strewn all over Nick Cass's furniture with nobody but the vehemently pro-Griffin Cass to watch over them?

Is there any way of knowing that the same number of envelopes that arrived tallies with the number of votes counted?

There isn't, is there?

When you've got your own house in order we might take your bleating about electoral fraud a little more seriously.

Wait, is this the same BNP Chris Barnett who is obsessed with (and to use his own term) ‘brown’ people? I guess it is – the same Chris Barnett who made quite a few ridiculous and embarrassing Lee Barnes-type postings on the blog of a teenager in January 2008? Here’s the link to Chris Barnett’s rantings on ‘brown’ people and socialists:

http://therightarewrong.blogspot.com/2008/06/bnp-show-us-what-they-really-mean.html

Here are excerpts from Chris Barnett’s rantings on ‘brown’ people and socialists from the above link:

The real racists, are the socialists.

It's the socialists who exploit those brown uneducated immigrants into socialist idiologies.

It's to socialists who lie to immigrants, claiming that capitalism, destabilised their homeslands.

It's the socialists who brainwash the underclass of immigrants, that they are lowly paid because of capitalism and that the reason why capitalism pays immigrants so little is because capitalism is "racist".

Thus, the socialists keep trying to make a link between capitalism & racism & facism and then claim the solution to all of that, is socialism.

Notice how the left brainwashes immigrants into believing that they can get what they want, by dominating the workplaces and the streets, causing real undemocratic physical unrest.

Chris Barnett’s continues to enlighten us with another posting, in which he says:

Socialists love those brown non-white immigrants, who are uneducated. To a nationalist and even a lot of tories, they are a lost cause. We have nothing to offer them, over and above what we have to offer to the rest of the population. But Nu-Labour leftwards, have no end of bribes and money to throw at more and more obscure pet projects, which are culturally exclusive. Who are the immigrants going to listen to? The socialists. Becuase it's the socialists that love to blame capitalism for the immigrants both living here AND being paid low wages.

These brown ECONOMIC MIGRANTS.

Chris Barnett everybody!

If Chris Barnett doesn't really exist in person, he is most probably Lee Barnes's "Mr hyde" alter-ego, someone who tries to send his arguments off at another tangent to Barnes's most blatant mental illness.

Looking on Google, I came across an entry onto a Bebo anti-racist profile, where he is attempting to play psychological warfare with the profile owner.

http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4586653616

Admittedly, the profile for an anti-racist one, is weakly modified, and has allowed racists to post willy nilly racist abuse like the word "p*k*", but Chris seems to have been targetting the mind of the profile owner by playing psychological warfare with him.

Once again, he has been creating controversy, as while many leading BNP members still believe Gerry Adams and Martin McGuiness should have been hung, he strangely enough appears to be understanding the motivations of terrorists "who are failed by the democratic system".

Now, does this mean Islamic extremists, or is he talking about people like Robert Cottage?

Is Chris Barnett a maverick who speaks for himself and is happy to put himself at odds with most other party members, or is there method in his madness?

I think he's merely playing with people's minds, as, like most neo-nazis, he's cocky as hell. The only problem is, his attempts at rationality (if you can call them that), amount to nothing as this creep does his utmost to stick his tongue up Nick Griffin's shitty, smelly arse.

Maybe Chris was hoping to woo Nick Griffin's freakshow daughter into bed by pretending he had a single brain cell (compard to the rest who have none), but I've some sad news on that score, Chris...

Mark Collett has been dating Griffin Junior since she was in her mid-teens!!!

Nick Griffin's freakshow daughter

Didn't Nick Griffin's daughter post semi-nude photos she took of herself on her website? I guess she's following the example set by her mother - Mrs Griffin who boasted of winnng a wet T-shirt competition whilst wearing a racist 'White Power' t-shirt (similar to the one Nick Griffin was photographed wearing a National Front march).
